The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe
Character: Uncle Diggory, Aslan the Lion
Director: Anna Murdock
Location: Spanish Fork High School's Little Theater
Year: 1988
Practice makes perfect. From the bottom and moving counter clockwise: my brother Chris, Scott Wycoff, Steven Carter, Melody Hammonds, my sister Cami, Leanne Moffit, and Tara Christopher.
Old man character #2.
This began my long history of being double cast.
Laying down the law, I mean, Deep Magic, to some unhappy and disreputable Narnians.
My Narnia family - clockwise from myself: my director mother Anna, my Dwarf brother Chris, my reindeer brother Kenny, my hag witch sister Cami, and my Edmond brother Corey.
Chris played the entire show on his haunches and that was including the fight scenes. My sister was the Music Director's assistant and went on stage in costume/disguise to make sure we were all singing our parts. Kenny played the role of Uncle Diggory years later. That's a long way to come for a reindeer!
Sesame Street? Sure, it's that way!
The Knighting of High King Peter. "Always remember to clean your sword."
The White Witch portrayed by Tara Christopher. We're both cold here but we actually quite good friends back stage. On stage was a different story, though...
Does it make sense to take photos immediately following a high energy show?
Other people liked our shows so much we often did additional runs of our shows in different locations. After this production at the High School we did a second run at a smaller theater-in-the-round location in Provo.
